A Bit About Me
Born in a beautiful 355-acre spiritual community nestled in the foothills of the Great Basin Desert, my first fourteen years of life were blessed with practical and spiritual guidance from diverse mentors of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I learned to do yoga before I learned how to hula-hoop. I was meditating before I learned how to read.
At 14, we moved to Portland, Oregon. I completed high school, excelling in music, theater, writing, and, unfortunately, disordered eating and body dysmorphia. My mental health felt challenged as I thirsted for the connection I had taken for granted as a young child. Thus began the search to find a life that worked for me as a queer, ENM, gender-fluid healer and artist.
This venture led me across the country, wearing various "hats", including outdoor survivalist, musician, nanny, and meditant. I received therapy, healing, and training from Yogis, Therapists, Native American Shamans, Pre-School Children, Mestita's, Insight Meditation Teachers, Alchemists, and African Spiritualists. It was as if I were unraveling an epic treasure hunt, and each new experience gave me another clue to help discover myself.
As I grappled with my eating disorder and began learning skills to manage anxiety and depression, I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Alternative Education at Prescott College and a Master's in Education at Subridge Institute.

Of all my early adulthood adventures, Motherhood was by far the most healing and transformative. It shifted my attention from self to other, from scholarly ambitions to real-life, everyday miracles. This was a wonderful time of baking, singing, walking to the river, and learning about WONDER!
When my children were ready for Kindergarten. I dove into a career in teaching and life coaching. For over a decade, I helped students and clients navigate personal and professional life transitions, challenges, and developmental evolutions. This profession expanded every one of my talents and gifts and filled my life with meaning and purpose.
After teaching for over 15 years, I took a sabbatical and journeyed inward. This heart-opening journey helped me process lingering past traumas and revealed my passion for Clinical Mental Health and Counseling.
As I emerge as a soon-to-be LPC, wizened crone, body and sex-positive empty nester, I spread my wings into the clinical mental health profession, ready to serve.
